1. About these terms
These terms apply to all work carried out by East London Locksmith Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16000172). By booking us, you agree to them.
2. Quotes and prices
We give you a price on the phone before we set off, based on what you tell us. Prices on our website are starting prices for supply and fitting.
If we find something different when we arrive, we tell you the new price before any work starts. Nothing changes without your agreement.
3. Parts and materials
We carry the most common cylinders and locks with us. Specialist parts may cost more and can take up to 10 working days to arrive. We tell you before we order them.
4. Call-outs and cancellations
If you cancel after we have set off, a call-out charge of up to £89 may apply. We tell you this when you book.
5. Proof of identity
For lockouts and lock changes we ask for photo ID and proof that you live at or are responsible for the property. If you cannot show this, we may refuse the work, and we may tell the police if we have already opened the door.
6. Parking and access
Please make sure we can park near the property. Parking charges or fines caused by a lack of parking may be added to your invoice.
7. When the job is done
Please check the work before we leave and tell us about any problem straight away. Paying for the job confirms that you are happy with it.
8. Guarantee
Our repairs and installations are guaranteed for 6 months. The guarantee does not cover work that someone else has changed or damaged since.
9. Payment
Payment is due when the job is done. We accept card, cash, Clearpay and Klarna, and bank transfer for business accounts. Clearpay and Klarna are subject to their own terms and are for customers aged 18 and over.
Calls may be recorded for training and quality.
