Getting help
How quickly can you get to me?
Usually within 30 to 60 minutes anywhere in East London. We give you an arrival time when you call.
Are you open 24 hours?
Yes. Every day of the year, including nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Which areas do you cover?
Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney, Waltham Forest, Redbridge, and Barking and Dagenham. If you are just outside, call and ask.
What ID do I need?
Photo ID and proof that you live at or are responsible for the property, such as a utility bill or tenancy agreement. If it is inside, we check it once the door is open.
Prices and payment
How much does a locksmith cost?
It depends on the lock and the door. Our prices are all-inclusive, supplied and fitted, from £75 for a nightlatch barrel. See our prices, or call and we confirm the price before we come out.
Do you agree the price first?
Yes. We give you the full price on the phone before we set off, and nothing changes without your say-so.
How can I pay?
Card, cash, Clearpay or Klarna. Clearpay and Klarna: 18+, T&Cs apply.
Do you invoice landlords and businesses?
Yes, with your reference and the property address. Ask us about paying on account.
Locks and security
Will you damage my door or lock?
We try non-destructive entry first. If a lock has to be drilled, we tell you why and agree the price before we start.
Can a lock be repaired instead of replaced?
Often, yes, and it usually costs less. If it cannot, we tell you why and give you the price for a new one.
How long does a lock change take?
Most euro cylinder changes take 20 to 40 minutes. Mortice and multipoint locks take longer.
Do you fit insurance-approved locks?
Yes. BS 3621 mortice locks and TS007 3-star or Sold Secure Diamond anti-snap cylinders.
When should I change my locks?
After moving in, losing keys, a break-in, a change of tenants or staff, or when a lock is worn or not up to your insurer’s standard.
Landlords, businesses and safes
Do you work for landlords and letting agents?
Yes. Tenancy changeovers, eviction lock changes and repairs reported by tenants.
Do you work for businesses?
Yes. Shops, offices and warehouses, planned or 24 hours, with master key systems and shutter repairs.
Can you open a safe if I have forgotten the code?
Yes. We open the safe and reset or reprogram the combination.
Still got a question?
Call us and you speak to a local locksmith, any time of day or night.
The locks we fit
Quality locks, not cheap imports
Not all locksmiths use the same locks. Some fit cheap unbranded locks that can wear quickly and fail. We do not.
- From proper suppliersEvery lock we fit is bought from reputable, well-established UK locksmith wholesalers.
- British Standard and KitemarkedCylinders carry the BSI Kitemark to TS007, and our mortice deadlocks meet BS 3621, the standard most home insurers ask for.
- Built to lastBranded locks work smoothly for years. Cheap ones can stick, wear and fail, which means another call-out.
- One price, all-inclusiveThe lock, fitting and labour in one price, agreed on the call before we come out.
